Author: After a long wait, Xiaomi 12 Lite entered the global market on 9th July. It debuted as the fourth model of the Xiaomi 12 loungeup. It uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8G chipset. The Xiaomi 12 Lite also has a triple rear camera unit with FHD + display panel, up to 256GB of storage, Android 12 based custom OS and 108-megapixel main sensor.
Again, the handset has a large battery-powered by 8 watts of fast charging technology, which Xiaomi claims will fully charge the device in just 41 minutes. After all, the newly added 5G phone in the company's portfolio has been brought under the mid-range. Let's take a look at the price and specification details of Xiaomi 12 Lite.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G smartphone comes with three different storage configurations. Of which, the base variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at 399 (about Rs 31,600 in Indian price). And, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and the 6GB RAM + 256GB storage options are priced at ৪ 449 (around Rs. 35,600) and 499 (around Rs. 39,600) respectively. The device comes in three color options - Light Green, Light Pink and Black.
Incidentally, the Xiaomi 12 Lite smartphone is expected to be unveiled in India later this year. Although Xiaomi has not yet announced the launch date.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G smartphone comes with a glass back panel design. It has a 6.55-inch Full HD Plus (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display. The display supports 950 net peak brightness, 20: 9 aspect ratio, 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atoms and HDR10 + technology. The device uses Snapdragon 8G processor for fast performance and multitasking. It is powered by Android 12 based MIUI 13 custom skin. And as storage, the phone offers up to 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB ROM.
Speaking of the camera front, this latest smartphone from Xiaomi has a triple rear camera setup. These cameras are the 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 primary sensor with f / 1.9 aperture, 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and 2-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies and video calling, a 32-megapixel front-facing camera is noticeable in the punch-hole cutout on the top of the display.
The connectivity options of the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G phone include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, dual 5G SIM slot and a USB Type-C port. It has a 4,300 mAh capacity battery for power backup, which supports 8 watts fast charging. According to Shaomi, this battery is capable of fully charging the device in just 41 minutes. This 'Lite' model of Xiaomi 12 series measures 159.30x63.60x7.29 mm.
