According to Tipstar, the Xiaomi smartphone will feature a 120 Hz refresh display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 120 Hz fast charging, and a primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The Xiaomi 12T has also been spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website, a list of which includes some more specifications for the handset.

Tipstar Mukul Sharma claims on Twitter that the upcoming Xiaomi 12 (temporary name) handset is currently in development and could debut in the market with a 120 Hz refresh rate enriched AMOLED display.
This Xiaomi phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Zen1 processor, which can come with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB storage. Mukul Sharma also claimed that a 12 GB RAM variant of this phone may also come in the market. Xiaomi did not elaborate on the Tipstar 12's camera, but said it did support optical image stabilization (OIS). Also, according to his tweet, the device will have 120 watt fast charging support, it will run on Android 12 based MIUI 13 custom skin and will include NFC feature.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12T handset with model number 22071212AG is listed on the site of the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The list reveals that the connectivity options of this new Xiaomi phone will include Wi-Fi 802.11x, 5G (8 band), Bluetooth, GPS and IR Blaster. Also, the list goes on to say that the Xiaomi 12T will be available in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage - in two memory configurations.
Earlier, the Xiaomi handset with model number 22071212AG was previously seen in the IMEI database and it is said that this model number belongs to Xiaomi 12T. Another smartphone with model number 22071212AC was also spotted in the IMEI database. The letter 'C' at the end of the model number refers to the Chinese version of the Xiaomi 12T. This model is said to be launched in China under the name Redmi K50 Ultra. And the letter 'G' at the end of the model number indicates the global variant, which is expected to launch in the rest of the world under the name Xiaomi 12T.
Note that the IMEI database lists several more Xiaomi phones, including model numbers 22081212G (Xiaomi 12T Pro), 22081212C (Redmi K50S Ultra), and 22081212UG (Xiaomi 12T Pro Hypercharge).
