Author: Popular smartphone brand Oppo is currently planning to launch a new handset of their A-series in the market, it is rumored that it will debut in the market under the name Oppo A97 5G.
Even the first glimpse of this upcoming device came through China Telecom’s list earlier this week. And now a well-known tipstar has unveiled some new renders of the Oppo A97 5G, which showcase this phone from multiple angles as well as hints at its color options. Let's take a look at the new information about the upcoming Oppo handset.

Reliable tipstar Evan Blass (@evleaks) has shared the renders of the upcoming Oppo A96 5G on Twitter. Renders have revealed that the smartphone will be available in three color options - Blue, Black and Pink. The device will have a flat back, flat edges and a large camera module. Also, the A97 will have a power button to the right of the 5G, with the fingerprint sensor embedded. And the volume rocker can be seen on the left. And the bottom of the phone will have a USB Type-C port, speaker grille and a headphone jack.
Oppo A97 5G Expected Specifications and Features
According to China Telecom's list, the Oppo A97 will come with a 5G 8.56-inch display, which will offer full-HD + resolution. No information has come out yet about the chipset of the device. However, it is expected to be available in two variants - 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
For photography, the dual-camera setup on the back panel of the Oppo A97 5G may include a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. And for selfies and video calling, you can see an 8-megapixel selfie camera in front of the phone. Above all, for power backup, the Oppo A97 5G will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery, and finally, the 12GB RAM model is expected to cost 2,299 yuan (about Rs 26,250).
