Author: OnePlus is currently planning to launch multiple devices in the market under their current generation OnePlus 10 series. Recently, the OnePlus 10T model was spotted on China's 3C certification site with a 160W fast charger. Now a new report has revealed that OnePlus has submitted a patent filing for one of its premium devices to China's CNIPA patent authority.
The patent includes several images of the handset. They show the handset with a rear camera bump design, which resembles the OnePlus 10 Pro launched earlier this year. It is believed to feature a periscope camera. According to reports, this could be the patent for the upcoming OnePlus 10 Ultra.
OnePlus 10 Ultra design revealed
A recent report by IT Home has revealed that OnePlus has submitted a patent filing to CNIPA for a premium device and the device is believed to be the OnePlus 10 Ultra. Several drawings of the handset have surfaced with the patent along with the design of the rear camera island, which resembles the OnePlus 10 Pro. A report earlier this year claimed that the upcoming smartphone will come with a periscope lens, based on a patent drawing filed last September.
The report also mentions that the rectangular cutout below the circular lens indicates that the phone will have a periscope camera. An alert slider is also seen in the drawings, indicating that the patent has indeed been filed for a premium OnePlus handset.
Notably, the upcoming flagship smartphone is said to feature a secondary screen within the camera module. Another report published in May indicated that the OnePlus 10 Ultra will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor and an updated camera module.
