Author: The popular technology company Honor is going to launch a new tablet soon, which will be known as Honor Pad 8. And now this upcoming Honor tablet has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification site. However, the site's listing doesn't reveal much about the tab. However, this indicates that the new Honor Pad 8 may soon enter the Chinese market.
Incidentally, it will be the successor to last year's Honor Pad 7 Tab, which was launched with a 10.1-inch full HD display and Helio P22T chipset.
Honor Pad 8 spotted on Bluetooth SIG list
The upcoming Honor Pad 8 tablet with the HEY-W09 model number is listed on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group website. Popular tipster Mukul Sharma first spotted this list The list reveals that the upcoming Honor tablet will offer Bluetooth V5.2 connectivity. However, more information has not come to light from Bluetooth SIG's database.
Notably, earlier a tablet with the same model number appeared on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) website. The 3C listing suggests that the tablet will come with 22.5W fast charging support. Let's take a look at the specifications of the predecessor Honor Pad 7 to get a better idea of what to expect from the upcoming tablet.
Honor Pad 7 Specifications
The Honor pad 7 tablet has a large 10.1-inch display with a full-HD screen resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and a 60 percent screen-to-body ratio. The pad is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The tablet runs on Android 10 based Magic UI 4.0 custom skin.
For photography, the Honor Pad 7 has a single 5 megapixel camera on the back panel. And for selfies and video calling, there's a 2-megapixel front-facing camera on the front of the tab. Above all, for power backup, the Honor Pad 7 offers a 5,100 mAh battery. The Honor tablet starts at 1,399 yuan (about Rs 18,550) in the Chinese market.
