Although the brand has not yet officially announced the launch date of this lineup, a recent report from China's offline electronics retailers indicates that the Xiaomi 12S series could hit the market by July 5.
Xiaomi 12S is coming to the market next month
Niuwan Technology, a user of the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, recently shared in their timeline that a number of Chinese offline retailers have started accepting the upcoming Xiaomi 12S series of marketing materials and devices from the company, including Shandi. 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro, and Xiaomi 12S Ultra - these three models are included.
Interestingly, another much-awaited flagship smartphone from Xiaomi, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, is said to be the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. A picture of the parcel attached to the Weibo post shows that the device supplied is called the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, along with an early bird premium gift box set from the company.
Earlier, sources said that the three models will come with Xiaomi's first flagship camera setup as well as Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Zen1 processor. The company has partnered with Leica for the camera setup of all devices in the Xiaomi 12S flagship lineup.
In addition, New One Technology has featured pictures of marketing materials and invitations for the launch of the Xiaomi 12S series in their Weibo post, highlighting the Xiaomi and Licor partnership as a sign of the beginning of a new era in smartphone photography. All cards are printed with the signatures of Lycra Chairman, Andreas Kaufmann and Xiaomi's Chief Executive Officer Lei Jun. The company is expected to spend more money on printed marketing for the Xiaomi 12S series this time around, as the amount of invitation cards in the box seen in the picture is much higher. It is expected that Xiaomi will officially announce the launch event date of the Xiaomi 12S series this week.
